Initial Seattle Plone Gathering (Jan 2005)

Document Actions
First Seattle Plone User Group convening on January 26, 2005 in Seattle.

Over the past couple weeks, Brian Gershon of RagingWeb.com and Andrew Burkhalter of ONENW.org have been brainstorming about convening a group of people interested in learning, discussing, and sharing around the Plone open source content management system (Why Plone?). Our hope is to kickstart a group that helps new developers and consultants get started, facilitates the transfer of knowledge, and encourages networking and collaboration.

To that end, we would like to invite you (and anyone else you think might be interested) to a first (we believe) Seattle-based "Plone Gathering" we're hosting at ONE/Northwest.

Specifics

Seattle Plone Gathering January 26th, 2005, 5:30 P.M. to 7:15 P.M.

Location

ONE/Northwest 1402 3rd Avenue, Suite 1000 Seattle WA 98101

Directions to ONE/Northwest

Agenda

  • Introductions, Welcome, and Food
  • Why Plone?
  • From start to finish: A case study with BCFacts.org
  • Where do we go from here (optional brainstorming for those interested)

We look forward to seeing you and please pass this along to others you think would be interested.
